Camping Sölden is laid out in terraces and extends over around 1.3 hectares. Located directly on the southern outskirts of Sölden, embedded in a breathtaking mountain scenery, guests at Camping Sölden enjoy pure nature combined with excellent service and typical Tyrolean hospitality. Due to the premium location of the campsite

- only 200 meters far from the cable car "Gaislachkogl" - Camping Sölden is the perfect starting point for all summer and winter sports enthusiasts. Back at campsite you' ll find a relaxing retreat where you take a breath & regain strength after an active day. "Camping with luxury flair" in a premium location - that is our motto.

The small and fine campsite

We offer around 90 pitches all in all, 19 of them are Comfort pitches (70 – 85 m²) and 6 Premium pitches (100 m²)  and are generous sized for your tent, caravan or mobile home. “Camping with hotel comfort” is our motto in accordance to our camping furnisher & equipment.

A green campsite

The Ötztaler Ache meanders past the campsite, with its calming rustling sound that ensures even more closeness to nature. You will find pitches on our terraces in the shadow, in partial shadow and also without shadow. Our Standard pitches offer even more calm and comfort because of their car-free zone. Cars can be parked on our limited free outdoor parking spaces or in our newly built & video-monitored underground parking garage. One free underground parking space is already included per pitch.

The very special location

The cable car station “Gaislachkogl” is only 200 meters far from the campsite and in walking distance. The place to be for all summer- and winter sports enthusiasts. Also the main bus station, the local bakery “Gstrein”, the supermarket “MPreis” as well as restaurants and pizzerias are next to the campsite.

Attractions in the region

In addition to the hiking paradise, the Ötztal offers numerous excursion destinations like the new cinema installation “007 Elements” at over 3,000 meters, the Panorama Restaurant ICE Q which has become the exclusive location for the James Bond film “Spectre”. The Ötzi village in Umhausen with the amazing “Stuibenfall”  – the highest waterfall in Tyrol, probably the most beautiful bathing lake in Tyrol – the Piburgersee as well as the newly created Widi children’s paradise in Ötz and much more…

Can I order bread at the campsite?

The bakery is located 80 meters from the campsite and can be reached on foot in a short time. You can buy daily fresh bread as well as milk, sausage and cheese.

How far is the nearest supermarket from the campsite?

The next supermarket "MPREIS" is only 200 meters far from the campsite and can therefore be reached by foot.

Is there a restaurant at the campsite?

Right next to the campsite is the Gasthof Grauer Bär, which prepares regional and seasonal cuisine, as well as the Bäckelar Wirt.

Where is the next cable-cabin and what it is called?

The next access to the ski-, hiking- and biking area is the Gaislachkoglbahn. This cable-car is just a 3 minute walk from the campsite.

Is there a ski bus service from the campsite to the cable car station?

The campsite is 200 meters and therefore only a three-minute walk far from the cable car station "Gaislachkogel". In addition, ski buses run every 10 minutes through Sölden free of charge. In winter there is also a free ski bus to the Gurgl ski area, approx. 15 kilometers away, every 10 minutes. The next bus stop is only 50 meters far from the campsite!

Is a regular bus running through the entire Ötztal?

Public transport in the Ötztal is very popular and runs to numerous stops between Ötztal train station and the end of the valley at short intervals. The nearest bus stop is just 50 meters far from the campsite.

SUMMER
With the free guest card, which you will obtain via e-mail after arrival, you will receive mobility advantages through the Ötztal valley.  Additionally, you will get reductions on various tourist and cultural attractions such as hiking tours, museums, etc.

WINTER
FREE TRAVEL on public transports on presentation of the free guest card, which can be made available to you on request at the reception, or with alpine ski clothing for winter sports in the period from October to May. This special service and inclusive benefit applies from Check-In to Check-Out at the accommodation.

Where is the next swimming pool?

Directly in Sölden and only 700m far from the campsite there is an indoor adventure pool with a sauna world in the Freizeit Arena. The Aqua Dome thermal baths are located in Längenfeld - 14 km away from Sölden. The nearest outdoor swimming pool is also only 14 km away in Längenfeld. Swimming lakes can be found in Umhausen (22 km) and Ötz (30 km).
