Together with our campers, we want to set an example for environmental responsibility and focus on ecological & energy-efficient sustainability without compromising on top-level service.
Following the principle of Avoid – Reduce – Recover, we comprehensively renovated and modernized our main building in 2022.
Results
- 183,236 kWh of heating energy saved
- Over 63,000 kg of CO₂ avoided annually
- plus 25,785 kg of CO₂ avoided thanks to the heat pump & 530 m² PV system (84 kWp)

Consumption per guest & night:
- Water: 90 liters
- Electricity: 5 kWh
- Cleaning agents: 0.01 kg
- Residual waste: 0.19 kg
- Organic waste: 0.04 kg
Avoid
By using the latest insulation and thermal protection technologies, we significantly reduced the energy demand of our main building. The goal was to prevent heat loss from the outset – not just compensate afterward.
Reduce
Where energy demand cannot be avoided, we rely on intelligent control systems.
Thanks to smart home technology and an optimized building management system, energy usage is regulated as needed and permanently reduced.
Recover
Heat recovery is used in all ventilation systems and shower drains, plus an additional centralized greywater heat recovery system that extracts the last bit of energy before the water flows into the sewer system.
